Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence

o Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, attentive service.

o Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend beverages accordingly.

o Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.

• Beverage Preparation

o Prepare high-quality coffee and specialty beverages following established recipes and presentation standards.

o Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and other machinery safely and efficiently.

o Maintain knowledge of various coffee types, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance customer experience.

• Quality Control

o Ensure all beverages meet quality standards in taste, temperature, and presentation.

o Regularly check inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.

• Sanitation and Cleanliness

o Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to health and safety regulations.

o Regularly clean equipment, utensils, and café areas to ensure a hygienic environment.

• Team Collaboration

o Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

o Assist in training new staff members by sharing knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and customer service practices.

• Sales Support

o Promote café products through upselling techniques while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

o Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly according to company policies.

• Qualifications

o Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or food service is a plus.

• Skills:

o Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.

o Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.

• Experience:

o Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

• Training and Development
